They hail from Apopka, Florida.  The group began in 1988.  At that time the name of the group was The Turner Family.  Even the original name of the group let you know that this is a close family and reinforces the reason for the title of our first CD - “A Family That Prays Together Stays Together.”

In 2001, after their parents were no longer actively involved with the group, they reorganized and adopted the name The Turner Brothers.

The Turner Brothers rejoice in God healing their father who had suffered a stroke.  That is another reason why they can say “A Family That Prays Together Stays Together.”
